Short Informations:
If you want to borrow items, you need to become a member of the Medienzentrum (Public Library).
We charge an annual membership fee of 20,00 €. There is no membership fee for children and young adults under 18 years. Students and people who are on social security or unemployed can get a reduced membership fee.
To become a member we need your valid identity card. Your residence permit must be valid for at least three months.
You are responsible for any item borrowed on your library card. Your card is non-transferable. You need to show your card if you want to borrow items from the library.
Please return your library items by the due date to avoid extended loan charges. You can renew items borrowed on your card for two extra loan periods.
Please store your bag in one of the lockers provided. Please show consideration for others who want to read and study in silence. It is not allowed to smoke, consume food or drinks within the building.
It is not allowed to bring pets in the library.

Monday: 10.00 - 13.00, 14.00 - 16.30
Tuesday: 10.00 - 13.00, 14.00 - 16.30
Wednesday: 08.30 – 12.30
Thursday: 13.00 - 18.00, At school holidays 13.00 - 16.30
Friday: 10.00 - 13.00, 14.00 - 16.30
Saturday: closed
Sunday: closed
The Medienzentrum is closed on legal Holidays.
